GOD WILL PROTECT YOU

"GOD WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU"

               

"Because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (I Pet. 5:8).

But Jesus, the lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5) has fixed His eyes upon you to protect you.

Look at the gracious Lord Jesus! Before going to the cross, when He was travailing in the garden of Gethsemane, Satan came to destroy Him for the last time. But Jesus said, "The ruler of this world (Satan) is coming, and he has nothing in Me" (John 14:30). He will surely protect you, because, "... He (Jesus) who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world" 1 (I John 4:4) As Apostle Paul says, 

"It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me" (Gal. 2:20), Satan will tremble at the Lord Jesus, who lives in you, and will be afraid to touch you. 

THE HOLY SPIRIT PROTECTS! 

We read about another work of the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 28:2: "Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who will bring them down to the earth with His hand" 

When the Holy Spirit fills you, He will come like a destroying storm. He will be roaring within you like the lion of the tribe of Judah (like that bear).

God has fixed His eyes upon you to protect you as the apple of the eye. "...He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep" (Ps. 121:3,4) Yes! In order to protect you, He keeps awake day and night. That is why the Psalmist pleads with God saying, "Keep me as the apple of Your eye" (Ps. 17:8) 

What is God's reply? "...for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye" (Zech. 2:8) "... He kept him as the apple of His eye," (Deut. 32:10) "For the eyes of the Lord run to and throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him" (II Chr.16:9)
