"ARISE & LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE"

First & Foremost I take this opportunity to THANK Pastor Vincent, for sending this below message by email, especially when I see the Glory of God descending from the heavens on many of us including myself, yet being nominal people we are still worried about the darkness. My eyes were reading - darkness comprehended it not when I seen the email pop up....IT WAS THE LIGHT OF THE LORD........!

The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (Joh:1:5)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
God wishes you to shine. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.(Mat 5:14). You may be the newly saved persons or believers or even evangelical workers for that matter you may be anybody. But God wishes to shine with in you. Similarly you should have that desire and will to prosper in the Lord. You have received the great blessing of salvation and powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit there fore you are expected to perform at least some good things for the glory of God. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
(Isa 60:1-3). You have, regrettably, imbibed with inferiority complex which prevents you from shining. I am not literate, I do not posses the spiritual blessings, I am not gifted with different talents? With these negative thoughts you question your self how can I rise and shine? But you forget that the Lord Jesus Christ who you worship is capable of making anybody shine. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.(Jn 1:9). To shine in your life prayer is utmost important thing. And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.(Mat 17:2).
Prayer means a pleasant communication experience with the Lord. When Jesus prayer over the entire night His face shone like whiteness of light. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.(Lk 9:29). Beloved the more you spend your time in prayer the more God makes you shine before men. Prayer brings forth the power of God with in you. Prayer fills you up with His glory. What ever you do pray before the action and you will find that you are made to shine. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.(Ps 34:5).
And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.(Acts 6:15). Here we read about Stephen. His face was shining like that of the angel of God and the people around him, the members of the council, and also the antagonists. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: (Acts 6:5). Be filled with the annoying of the Holy Spirit always so that you will able to rise and shine. Let the anointing of the Spirit be filled with you always so that you shall glorify God in tongues. This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zech 4:6). But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8).

When the disciples of Jesus Christ filled with Holy Spirit they performed many miracle and wonders among the people. On a single day five thousands were saved. What has happen to those miracles and wonders today? Have they vanished? No, they have not vanished. Because lives for ever. When you are filled with the anointing and shine you shall witness the miracle and wonders like the olden days. If your anointing is genuine and honest you should be able to raise and shine for the glory of God. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (2Tim 4:2). God instructs those who have received His anointing, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Offer yourself now to the spiritual power of the Holy Spirit. Then all the obstacles and stumbling blocks in your life will be removed and you shall rise and shine.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. - Ephesians 5:14

"YOU CAN HEAR GOD'S VOICE"

You Can Hear God's Voice!
DISCOVER THE KEYS TO CONSISTENT, POWERFUL, LIFE GIVING CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD............
Christianity is unique among religions, for it alone offers a personal relationship with the Creator beginning here and now, and lasting throughout eternity. Jesus declared, Joh:17:2: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Unfortunately, many in the Church miss the great blessing of fellowship with our Lord because we have lost the ability to recognize His voice within us. Though we have the promise that “My sheep hear My voice,” too many believers are starved for that intimate relationship that alone can satisfy the desire of their hearts.

I was one of those sheep who was deaf to his Shepherd until the Lord revealed very simple keys (found in Hab:2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.) that unlocked the treasure of His voice.

Key #1 God’s voice in your heart often sounds like a flow of spontaneous thoughts. Habakkuk knew the sound of God speaking to him ( Hab:2:2: And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.)
Elijah described it as a still, small voice (I Kings 19:12). I had always listened for an inner  audible voice, and God does speak that way at times. However, I have found that usually, God’s voice comes as spontaneous thoughts, visions, feelings, or impressions. For example, haven’t you been driving down the road and had a thought come to you to pray for a certain person? Didn’t you believe it was God telling you to pray? What did God’s voice sound like? Was it an audible voice, or was it a spontaneous thought that lit upon your mind? Experience indicates that we perceive spirit-level communication as spontaneous thoughts, impressions and visions, and Scripture confirms this in many ways. For example, one definition of paga, a Hebrew word for intercession, is “a chance encounter or an accidental intersecting.” When God lays people on our hearts, He does it through paga, a chance-encounter thought “accidentally” intersecting our minds. Therefore, when you want to hear from God, tune to chance-encounter or spontaneous thoughts.

Key #2 Become still so you can sense God’s flow of thoughts and emotions within. Habakkuk said, “I will stand on my guard post...” ( Hab:2:1: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. ). Habakkuk knew that to hear God’s quiet, inner, spontaneous thoughts, he had to first go to a quiet place and still his own thoughts and emotions. (Psalms:46:10: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.) encourages us to be still, and know that He is God. There is a deep inner knowing (spontaneous flow) in our spirits that each of us can experience when we quiet our flesh and our minds. If we are not still, we will sense only our own thoughts.

Loving God through a quiet worship song is one very effective way to become still. (2Ki:3:15: But now bring me a minstrel.  And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.) After I worship and become silent within, I open myself for that spontaneous flow. If thoughts come of things I have forgotten to do, I write them down and dismiss them. If thoughts of guilt or unworthiness come, I repent thoroughly, receive the washing of the blood of the Lamb, putting on His robe of righteousness, seeing myself spotless before God (Isa:61:10: I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.)
To receive the pure word of God, it is very important that my heart be properly focused as I become still because my focus is the source of the intuitive flow. If I fix my eyes upon Jesus, the intuitive flow comes from Jesus. But if I fix my gaze upon some desire of my heart, the intuitive flow comes out of that desire. To have a pure flow I must become still and carefully fix my eyes upon Jesus. Again, quietly worshiping the King, and receiving out of the stillness that follows quite easily accomplishes this.
Fix your gaze upon Jesus, becoming quiet in His presence and sharing with Him what is on your heart. Spontaneous thoughts will begin to flow from the throne of God to you, and you will actually be conversing with the King of Kings!

Key #3 As you pray, fix the eyes of your heart upon Jesus, seeing in the Spirit the dreams and visions of Almighty God.
Habakkuk said, “I will keep watch to see,” and God said, “Record the vision” (Hab. 2:1,2). Habakkuk was actually looking for vision as he prayed. He opened the eyes of his heart, and looked into the spirit world to see what God wanted to show him. This is an intriguing idea. God has always spoken through dreams and visions, and He specifically said that they would come to those upon whom the Holy Spirit is poured out (Acts 2:1-4, 17).
I had never thought of opening the eyes of my heart and looking for vision. However, I have come to believe that this is exactly what God wants me to do. He gave me eyes in my heart to see in the spirit the vision and movement of Almighty God. There is an active spirit world all around us, full of angels, demons, the Holy Spirit, the omnipresent Father, and His omnipresent Son, Jesus. The only reasons for me not to see this reality are unbelief or lack of knowledge.

“I pray that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened….”

Key #4  Journalese, the writing out of your prayers and God’s answers, brings great freedom in hearing God’s voice.
God told Habakkuk to record the vision. This was not an isolated command. The Scriptures record many examples of individual’s prayers and God’s replies (e.g. the Psalms, many of the prophets, Revelation).
I call the process “two-way journaling,” and I have found it to be a fabulous catalyst for clearly discerning God’s inner, spontaneous flow, because as I journal I am able to write in faith for long periods of time, simply believing it is God. I know that what I believe I have received from God must be tested. However, testing involves doubt and doubt blocks divine communication, so I do not want to test while I am trying to receive. With journaling, I can receive in faith, knowing that when the flow has ended I can test and examine it carefully, making sure that it lines up with Scripture.

You will be amazed when you journal. Doubt may hinder you at first, but throw it off, reminding yourself that it is a biblical concept, and that God is present, speaking to His children. Relax. When we cease our labors and enter His rest, God is free to flow (Heb:4:10: For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.). Sit back comfortably, take out your pen and paper, smile, and turn your attention toward the Lord in praise and worship, seeking His face. After you write your question to Him, become still, fixing your gaze on Jesus You will suddenly have a very good thought. Don’t doubt it; simply write it down. Later, as you read your journaling, you, too, will be blessed to discover that you are indeed dialoguing with God.

SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND HIM, BE STILL LET HIM LOVE YOU AND YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE TOO, REACH OUT TO HIM AND YOU WILL FEEL HIS TOUCH....ALL SO MAGNIFICENT...WE TRULY SERVE AN OMNIPOTENT GOD.......

JESUS LOVES ME .....SO DO I ..........!

"HOW TO LEAD A STRESS FREE LIFE"

HOW TO LEAD  STRESS FREE LIFE

THE CLOCK IS TICKING AND IT IS 1130 PM  (19TH MAY 2012) AND I AM TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTION TO GET MY OWN LIFE IN BALANCE. I TELL YOU MY FRIEND - TO GET LIFE IN BALANCE IS A CHORE.
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE SPIRITUALLY ALIGNED AND LEAD BY THE SPIRIT DAY AFTER DAY. THEN YOU HAVE YOUR EMOTIONS THAT TAKE THE BETTER OF YOU.
LET'S TAKE UP A TASK - LET'S EXAMINE YOUR LIFE AS WELL AS MINE.......JUST CHECK YOUR LIFE, AS WELL AS MY OWN --- FIRST TO SEE WHERE THE IMBALANCE OCCURS.
TO KEEP OUR LIVES IN BALANCE WE NEED TO BE WELL BALANCED.

EXAMINE YOUR LIFE AND SAY TO YOURSELF - IS THERE ANY AREA THAT I AM OUT OF BALANCE. IF THERE IS THEN THAT IS AN OPEN DOOR FOR OUR FRIEND SATAN - DEVIL IN DISGUISE. WHO I TELL YOU UPON FINDING A SMALL ROOM WILL SETTLE AND CLAIM THAT AREA AND MAKE IT HIS HOME. IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.........OPEN YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES....TURN TO THE BIBLE AND READ..........

1Peter [5:8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
NOW IT'S ALL ONE WAY ALL THE OTHER WAY - BUT IF I AM COMMITTED I AM GOING TO DO IT. ACHIEVE WHAT I PERCEIVE IS MY WANT OR DESIRE. WORK IS GOOD I AM AN WORKAHOLIC, ACCESS OF EVERYTHING IS THE DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND. IT IS AN OPEN DOOR FOR OUR FRIEND.
EVERYTHING WE DO IS A SEED WE SOW, ALL SEEDS  REAP / PRODUCE AN HARVEST. They could be seeds of LOVE, HATRED, ANGER, LUST............

THEREFORE STOP......HONOR GOD........ FOLLOW THE LEADERSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GOD WILL REDEEM THE  LOST TIME. BUT HOW EASY IT IS FOR THE  DEVIL TO STEAL YOUR  PRECIOUS TIME/OPPORTUNITY.

WE GOT TO LEARN TO DO IT GOD'S WAY & NOT OUR OWN WAY. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR EYES OPEN TO LOOK FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY WITH GOD.
WE NEED TO SLOW DOWN IN OUR THINKING AND THE DECISIONS WE MAKE. WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT IT. DO NOT DO THINGS EMOTIONALLY. ONCE YOU GET CAUGHT UP WITH YOUR WEAKNESSES, THEY BECOME A HABIT, WELL THEN FOLKS TO TURN A BAD HABIT TO A GOOD ONE WILL PROBABLY TAKE A DECADE......

SO LET'S FOCUS AND TRY TO MOVE THE MOUNTAIN OF PAIN, HURTEMPTINESS, LONELINESS BY  PREPARING OURSELVES.

DO NOT CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN BAREFOOT OR WITH A PAIR OF HEELS.......
BUT RATHER WEAR THE ARMOUR OF GOD.......
READ BELOW

Eph:6:10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph:6:11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph:6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph:6:13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph:6:14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph:6:15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph:6:16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph:6:17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph:6:18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Eph:6:19: And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Eph:6:20: For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Eph:6:21: But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
Eph:6:22: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
Eph:6:23: Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph:6:24: Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
Amen.

"OUR GOD IS TRUE TO HIS PROMISES"

OUR GOD IS TRUE TO HIS PROMISES
SERMON BY PASTOR VINCENT @ ELM - KUWAIT ON 2ND MAY 2012

Our God is true to His promise - His promises never fail.
Job 9:1-10 Every month He gives us a promise and guides us accordingly. In this new month God gives the promise that He will perform great deeds which none can comprehend. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.(Job 9:10). You are passing through great difficulties and stress and pressures in your life. All these are permitted by God in order to make firm in your faith. When you cross over all these hurdles, then you can claim like David that God has brought us in a broad place. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.(Ps 66:12).

God who does great deeds: which is beyond your comprehend is great. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.(1Jn 4:4). You are centering your thoughts about your personal capacity and personal situation in your life. So when you suddenly face problems, you come to conclusion that you cannot get over the problem. Not only that you assume you don't have the capacity and the knowledge to solve your problem. Yes it is true. But God who lives in you is great. He is the one who strengthens you. He guides you with proper knowledge. Apostle Paul said I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

God strengthen the Israelites to do great things: He wanted to chase away more powerful gentiles. To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.(Deut 4:38). Therefore He walked them through the wilderness. He fed them with Manna from Heaven. They had the strength of the unicorn. God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.(Num 24:8). Beloved, the God who guided the Israelites through the wilderness and who stayed with them, who strengthen them to drive away the gentile who are more powerful than them is able to strengthen you also. You are worried about the wilderness in your life. Think of the God who is able to fortify you. He is mighty God. You get power, strength and grace from Him. He has planed to do great things to you there for He reinforces you with His power. And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do great and marvelous things, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.(Exo 34:10).

How can you receive the strength from God? Acts 3:1-16 Beloved, there is a power in His name. On one occasion Apostles Peter and John went to the synagogue. Then they saw a lame man who was lame by birth. His legs were lame, so people always carried him. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.(Acts 3:3-10). The lame who was begging for alms got healed and it was a great thing. He would not have expected it. The secret of this great miracle is God has strengthened him. That strength came through the name of Jesus. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.(Acts 3:16).

You believe in the name of God and proclaim it: He promises us that whatever we ask in His name He will do it. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.(Jn 14:14). Today you believe in His name and receive great things from Him. Secondly when you wait in the presence of God He gives you strength and makes you to do great things.

Encourge yourself in the LORD: 1 Samuel 30:1-6And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.(1Sam 30:1-3). Amalekires took the family of David and the people who were with David and their families in captivity. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. So they cried with their full strength but still they could not find the solution for the problems. But only the problems increase. Infact, the people who were with David, due to the problems, decided to stone David and kill him. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.(1Sam 30:6).

Wait in the Presence of God: 1 Samuel 30-6-19 David tried in many ways to find the solution by his own effort to his problem, but yet could not find one. Beloved, David when he was struggling with his own effort it never occurred to him that he must follow and chase Amalekites who took his wife and children's in captivity. When he waited in the presence of God then God strengthen him. Then he received the understanding from God that he can follow the Amalekites and win them. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.(1Sam 30:6-8). According to the guidance of God David went to war with his 600 trusted soldiers. So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed. But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.(1Sam 30:9-10). David with the very minimum of 200 soldier and went to fight. God was with Him in the battle and by His strength the war went. And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled. And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.(1Sam 30:17-19). God gave David the instruction to bring back everything. In your life also God is giving you the guidance to do great things. To receive this grace you must wait in His presence. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.(Isa 40;31).

God makes you to achieve Great things and opens Great Doors: 1 Corinthians 16:1-9 God not only strengthens you to achieve great things but He also opens great doors for you. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.(1Cor 16:9). So many months you are facing many closed doors, but God promises in this month He will open new doors for you. He will open new ways in your business. He will open the close womb. All your efforts will prosper in this month. In Apostle Paul's life God opened new favorable and great doors amidst his enemies. Likewise God will open the doors amidst the people who are jealous of you. Who have criticized and mocked at you. The very same people who mocked at you will approach you for help. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.(Ps 24:7-10).

God opens the windows of heaven to bless you in your spiritual life as well as material benefits. And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.(Jn 1:51). In the last days I will pour my Spirit upon all the flesh this is God's promise. And He will also pour the latter rains on us. You will grow in the spiritual life. You must also prepare and expect the love second coming of the Lord. Expect great things in your spiritual life. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.(Ps 107:15-16). In order to allow God to do great revival in your financial matters, you must be sincere in all your dealings. You must be sincere in your family life too. You must also be sincere in work. Be sincere in your offerings. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.(Mal 3:10).

In this new month expect great things from God with faith Isaiah 60: God will make you great nation. His grace is great. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.(Isa 60:22). Once again wishing you all that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God our Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit may remain in you, with you and your family members now and for ever………………………....Amen.

"THE WORD WAS GOD"

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
SERMON BY PASTOR VINCENT @ ELM - KUWAIT

CLAIM YOUR PROMISES BY THE WORD OF GOD - THE WORD OF GOD IS THE LAW OF GOD - "HE PLACES HIS WORD ABOVE ALL THINGS"
The Word Of God

Before ANYTHING else, "in the beginning was the Word." The Greek root is "logos," which means "thought, order, arrangement, reasoning, something said." Without thought, all is disordered chaos - anarchy. The Word of God is the creative force of Spirit that assembled and ordered all things. Every atom and molecule, all things material and spiritual sprang from God's thought. God's Word is the spark of life. Without His Word, nothing would exist. The Word is the most comprehensible nature of God.

John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word Was God

If we could see spiritual things with the naked eye, we could see the city of Heaven, the throne of God, angels, demons, and everything else in God's invisible world. As the material world has a microscopic underpinning of atoms and molecules, so the spirit world has a substructure of the words of God. The Word is the essence of God. Jesus is the only bodily form of the Word.

John 1:1-2 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God."

Jesus - Your Creator

Jesus CREATED YOU & ME..... That is as bold a claim as anyone can make. Either Jesus Christ is Creator or the entire Bible is a farce. I have no doubt. When Mary held baby Jesus, she was simultaneously looking at her newborn son and her eternal Father. The invisible Holy Spirit who created all things, embodied Himself in a mortal man. He said, "Before Abraham was, I AM." Jesus is Emmanuel - God with us. Fully man, fully God.

John 1:3 - "All things were made by Him."

Jesus - The Light Of The World

The life of Jesus Christ is light shining in darkness for all men. John bore witness of Him so all the world could believe. Jesus is the true Light. No other man has ever shined so brightly, nor given more life to more men. "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness," John 12:46. NOBODY is truly enlightened without Jesus.

John 1:4-5 - "In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Believers Given Power To Become Sons Of God

The invisible God embodied Himself and came to reveal Himself to His people, Israel. "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not." Therefore, God birthed a new nation - His Church.

John 1:12 - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

The Word Made Flesh - God In A Body

The Old Testament heroes never saw God. They only saw the angel of the Lord, or dreams and visions of God. Jesus "declared" (manifested, revealed, showed) God. Jesus was the fulness of God bodily (Colossians 2:9). When you see Jesus, you see the Father (John 14:9).

John 1:14,18 - "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ...No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, ...he hath declared him."

Jesus - Prophet Like Moses

Moses prophesied to Israel that God would raise up another prophet "of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him shall ye hearken," (Deuteronomy 18:15). Peter taught that Jesus was that prophet, (Acts 3:22). Stephen agreed with that in Acts 7:37. Philip agreed in John 1:45. What is the significance? Moses led the people out of bondage to the border of the Promised Land. But Moses said, "...unto Him shall ye hearken." Jesus came to finish everything Moses started.

John 1:17 - "...the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

Make Straight The Way Of The Lord

The Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to investigate John the Baptist. John quickly informed them, "I am not the Christ." Then they asked, "Art thou Elias [Elijah]?" "I am not." "That prophet?" "No." Then who? "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness." Isaiah had prophesied of one who would "make straight in the desert a highway for our God, ... and the glory of the LORD shall be revealed," (40:3,5).

John 1:23 - "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord."

Why Did John Baptize By Immersion In Water?

The Pharisees asked John, "Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?" He answered, "That he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water," (1:31). John baptized believers unto repentance in preparation for Christ to baptize them with His Spirit.

John 1:26-27,33 - "I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. ...the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost."

Jesus - The Lamb of God

Before Israel inherited their homeland, they spent almost 200 years as Egyptian slaves. God sent Moses to deliver them, but Pharaoh would not let them go. God sent plagues to change his mind. Finally, God killed Egypt's firstborn sons. Israel's firstborn were saved because they sacrificed a lamb and sprinkled its blood on their doorposts. This "passover" offering saved them from God's wrath. If we obey the gospel, Jesus' blood-sacrifice saves us.

John 1:29 - "...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

The Baptizer Of The Holy Ghost Confirmed By A Sign

John saw the Spirit descend on Jesus in the shape of a dove (Luke 3:21). The Holy Ghost is an invisible Spirit, not a dove. That was the sign that Jesus was the one who would baptize with the Holy Ghost.

John 1:32 - "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost."

Where Dwellest Thou? Come And See!

Two disciples of John the Baptist were standing nearby when John declared, "Behold the Lamb of God!" These two men immediately left John and followed Jesus. When Jesus saw them following Him, He asked, "What seek ye?" to which they replied, "Where dwellest thou?" Jesus answered, "Come and see." One of them was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, both of whom Jesus called to Himself. Learn from this. Ask the Lord to show you where He dwells. You may end up in His Holy Presence.

John 1:39 - "They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day."

Jesus - Son Of God, Messiah, Christ

Within twenty-four hours, Jesus' true identity began to spread like wildfire. John the Baptist said, "I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God." The next day, John added, "Behold the Lamb of God!" Then, one of John's disciples concluded, "We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ." Then, Philip added, "We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." And Nathanael summed it up.

John 1:49 - "Thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel."

Thou Art The Son Of God, The King Of Israel

"Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!" Nathanael asked how Jesus knew him. Jesus said, "Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee." Nathanael was impressed. "Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel." Jesus replied, "Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these." Great confessions of faith lead to greater revelations.

John 1:51 - "Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."

HOW WE CAN  PERMANENTLY CHANGE OUR LIVES FROM SINFUL WAYS?
SERMON BY PASTOR VINCENT @ ELM – KUWAIT ON 29TH FEB 2012

Diligently apply the ways of God.
1    Honestly understand your weakness.
Jer:17:7: Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
Jer:17:8: For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Jer:17:9: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

GOD LOOKS UNTO YOUR HEART……
Do not get discouraged when sin has taken place.
2Co:4:5: For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
2Co:4:6: For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2Co:4:7: But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
2Co:4:8: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co:4:9: Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
LET YOUR RELATIONSHIP BE FIRM WITH GOD – “RE-ESTABLISH YOUR COVENANT WITH GOD”
Ph'p:4:10: But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Ph'p:4:11: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Ph'p:4:12: I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.Ph'p:4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
***************************************************************************
Joh:5:28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh:5:29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Joh:5:30: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

M't:19:25: When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
M't:19:26: But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

HOW WE ALL WAIT UPON THE LORD ALMIGHTY, WHO IS THE KING OF KINGS & LORD OF LORD'S, THE AUTHOR & FINISHER, FIRST & LAST...........OUR OMNIPOTENT GOD.....!

Introduction
1. In order to understand this verse accurately, first we must see what’s the purpose of using an Eagle to explain the act of waiting upon the Lord?

2. An Eagle at the age of 30-50, flies to a high place and there it endures a harsh trial of endurance and change. It can’t fly because its feathers are overgrown. Therefore it plucks all the feathers from its body. It plucks its talons from its feet because the talons have grown curled and useless. Its beak has grown too long and curled. It breaks its beak against a rock. Defenseless, it cries out and waits for the time of renewal.

3. Other Eagles hear its cry, and come to aid. They fly overhead, scaring off predators, and they bring food to their incapacitated friend.

4. Second, what does it mean to wait? In Hebrew (qavah – kav-waw’) the figurative meaning of the word is “to bind together like a cord.” It doesn’t mean to tie a cord around a bundle of sticks to keep them together. Instead, it’s the process of making a rope by twisting or weaving small strings together to form the rope. The more strands that are twisted or woven together in a rope, the greater is its strength. The literal meaning of the word is “hope”.

5. Like it happens to Eagle God makes us to go through harsh trials of endurance and change. This is necessary to shape our Christian character and faith. In such time we need to unite with the Lord like strands of a rope by waiting upon Him. This unity renews our strength. So let’s learn how to wait upon Him?
1. God should be your only source of hope

Jesus told the Paralytic,(KJV- M't:9:6): But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
This man had only 2 possessions. The clothes he wore and the mat!
In Jesus’ day paralytics were left to beg in the street. This was their only way of survival. The mat on which this man begged was his only hope.
He slept on it, rested on it and watched the world pass by.
He was ordered to put away the mat and to put his hope in Jesus.

Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. (KJV-Psalms 25:15).

Have you kept your hope in some one or something other than God?
2. Isolate yourself with God. Be still.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalms 46:10).

1Ki:19:10: And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
1Ki:19:11: And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD.  And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
1Ki:19:12: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
1Ki:19:13: And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.  And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

God’s renewing grace can be experienced only in isolation and stillness.

3. Submit to God’s sovereignty

Sovereign: Above or superior to all others/Supreme in power, rank or authority.
KJV -[ Isa:55:8-9] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Do you know God is sovereign in your present situation? (Sickness, Financial issues etc.)
Do you know that God is working through your problem to work towards the Goal He has set for your life?

4. Conclusion
The very situation that you are facing right now could be a trial of endurance and change. God makes His children to walk through such times because it’s the only way prepare you to meet God’s plan for your life. To take away what is unnecessary, and shape up your character and attitudes.
But God never forsakes or leaves behind His children at these times of correction. He is with you because He wants to renew your strength at the end of the trial period. The 3 principals I provided in my message today show how to wait upon the Lord for divine renewal. Wait upon the Lord – and you will soar like an Eagle.
