GOD HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR HEARTS

IN YOUR COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, WALKING BEFORE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY ( 2Ch:6:14) And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts.

GOD LOOKS AT THE HEART, WHILE OTHERS FOCUS ON OUTWARD APPEARANCES (1Sa:16:7) But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

HE SEARCHES ALL HEARTS (1Ch:28:9) And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

HE TRIES THE HEART (Proverb:17:3) The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.

THE CONDITION OF YOUR HEART WILL DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ANSWERS TO YOUR PRAYERS. THE SEASON BETWEEN OFFERING YOUR PRAYERS AND RECEIVING ANSWERS IS DETERMINED TO TESTING YOUR HEART. THE TEST IS NOT FOR GOD TO KNOW YOUR HEART, BUT FOR YOU TO KNOW ITS CONDITION (De:8:1-10 READ)

DON’T ALLOW ANSWERED PRAYER TO REPLACE GOD. THE FLOODGATE’S OF GOD’S BLESSINGS OPEN FOR YOU WHEN YOUR HEART IS RIGHT BEFORE HIM. LIKE ABRAHAM YOUR COMMITMENT TO GOD MUST BE PROVEN (Gen 22 READ – Full Chapter)

WHEN THINGS GET ROUGH AND THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S PROMISES SEEM FAR OFF, DON’T GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION TO RETURN TO WHAT FORMERLY WAS AT THE CENTRE OF YOUR  HEART. COMMIT YOURSELF TO NEVER LEAVE GOD. DON’T BE LIKE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WHO ERRED IN THEIR HEARTS TOWARD GOD (Heb:3:10) Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

BE MINDFUL NOT TO FORGET GOD WHEN YOU BEGIN TO PROSPER, AND DON’T ATTEMPT TO TAKE CREDIT FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE IN YOUR LIFE (De:8:11) Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day.(De:8:12 – 20 READ)

DON’T EXPECT GOD TO HELP YOU IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO OBEY HIM WHERE HIS KINGDOM IS CONCERNED……………
